The Skincare Ingredient I Never Knew I Needed: I'm From Fig Cleansing Balm

Skincare often incorporates fruit as the main ingredient in many products, but have you ever heard of figs(Ficus Carica) in skincare? I honestly don't think I have tried any products with fig as a main ingredient, so the hype I experienced over I'm From's new Fig collection is real.

Fun fact:

Figs contain superior quality antioxidants(anthocyanins, polyphenols, gallic acid) that aids in evening skintone, calms redness, reducing dark spots by inhibiting the production of melanin, and enhances skin's hydration by preventing water loss from skin's upper layers.

This is I'm From's first ever cleansing balm, making it a very exciting product carried by @Wishtrend!

This balm is formulated with 7.8% fig oil water and effectively removes makeup, dirt, oil, or any leftover residue.

My thoughts:

Upon opening the container, there is a very sweet fruity scent that begins to linger and it is invcredibly pleasant and relaxing. The balm itself is more firm in texture than other cleansing balms I have tried, which makes it incredibly easy to glide across the skin. At first scoop it feels like sherbet and immediately melts onto the skin upon contact, creating a silky smooth oil consistency. It is very hydrating and feels very nice on the skin, and leaves behind no residue. This cleanser is effective at removing all traces of makeup, sunscreen, and oil from the skin thanks to its thicker consistency.

The best part about this balm? It turns into this incredible creamy consistency and emulsifies upon adding water! Did I mention that I have never had to double cleanse after using this? I am very picky when it comes to cleansing balms because they often leave so much residue behind, but this one does not! My skin is left feeling satiny smooth and incredibly moisturized-- not stripping my dry skin whatsoever.

The overall experience that this product creates feels very luxurious and relaxing, making this a staple in my collection!
