A Thirst Quencher for Skin: Klairs Fundamental Ampule Mist
Hi beauties! As you all know, I recently shared that I am officially an affiliate for Wishtrend. Wishtrend recently sent me Klair's Fundamental Ampule Mist, and I've been using it for about two weeks now.
Klair's fundamental line is focused around fundamental skincare, and is all about going back to the basics. Klairs philosophy on fundamental care comes down to three aspects: hydrate, repair, and protecting the skin. This ampule mist hits all three key points!
Don't let "going back to basics" give you the wrong idea-- this product is all but basic. It has high quality, premium ingredients that work to nourish deep into the skin to lock in moisture without the need for layering.
How do I use it?
Directions for use: “After cleansing, spray 2-3 spritz on the whole face at a distance of 20cm. Use at any time of day to soothe, refresh and moisturize the skin. Recommended to use the Ampule Mist as a toner during the skincare step.”
Is it a mist? A toner? An ampoule? It's a 3-in-1 multi-use product!
I found that this works best in between my toner and serums-- I do have very dry, dehydrated skin so I try to incorporate as much hydration into my routine as possible. While this is very hydrating, it wasn't hydrating enough for my skin to replace my toner. Everybody's skin is different so while this wasn't enough for me, it would probably be enough for somebody with combination/oily skin.
I have mainly been using this as a traditional mist and spritzing it throughout the day for a hydration pick-me-up.
I am a huge fan of mists, specifically those with ultra fine mist nozzles like this one! It releases such a fine, wide mist that covers the face exceptionally well without being heavy or releasing too much in one spritz. The lightness of the mist allows it to absorb quickly into the skin, leaving behind no sticky/tacky residue.
What are the ingredients?
Camellia Sinensis Leaf Water(cucumber), Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Luffa Cylindrica Fruit Extract, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract, Hibiscus Esculentus Fruit Extract, Betaine, Trehalose, 1,2-Hexanediol, Aqua(Water), Artemisia Vulgaris Extract, Panthenol, Sorbitol, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Laminaria Japonica Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Disodium EDTA, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Ceramide NP
Main ingredient purposes:
Jeju Green Tea Water- loaded with amino acids and antioxidants to help replenish and neutralize skin for a natural glow.
Cucumber- contains high amounts of vitamin c and caffeic acid which help to reduce inflammation and irritated skin, and has great hydrating benefits.
Rice- is rich in minerals, antioxidants, and vitamins b & e, all which aid in purifying and smoothing the skin.
Okra- contains vitamin c which helps keep the skin looking young and vibrant, and overall promotes healthy skin.
Laminaria Japonica Extract- moisturizes the skin, and provides deep nourishment while removing skin dryness.
My thoughts:
The texture of this product is obviously very watery, but also has a silky feel and has some slip to it. It provides intense hydration and continuously delivers moisture into the skin even after spraying. This mist gives a beautiful dewy finish, and feels so lightweight on the skin. Many mists I've used only give minimal hydration and my skin feels dry shortly after, but this mist delivers an immense moisture boost deep into the skin leaving my skin feeling hydrated much longer compared to others. This is a versatile, multi-use product and I am so happy to be implementing it into my routine!
