Lime Crime Diamond Crusher Lip Toppers
Hey beauties! Lime Crime has some of my absolute favorite lip formulas, especially their Diamond Crusher Lip Toppers.
Not going to lie, I am a glitter fiend-- I love anything and everything to do with glitter, and these are just so special and I don't own anything like them except maybe the Urban Decay Vice Lip Toppers. These beauties are full on glitter toppers that add tons of sparkle and drama to any look! Most of the shades don't have much of a base color so it's best to layer these over a matte lipstick to get the full effect of them. However, you can wear them alone and do two or three coats for full opacity. They can be a tad patchy depending on the color so make sure you let each coat dry completely if you're doing multiple coats.
The formula itself feels really nice on the lips and goes on really cool, wet feeling so it's actually pretty hydrating. They literally apply so smooth! I've yet to try another lip topper or any lipstick in general that glides on as easily as these do. The best thing about these toppers is that they dry down completely, but aren't drying to the lips whatsoever! As with any type of lipstick, make sure you apply lip balm beforehand so your lips are nice and prepped for application. The glitter is microfine so there's no gritty feeling, but there will be some glitter fallout(like with any other glitter product). Many of the shades are duochrome shades so if you want a standout lip product, these are absolutely for you! I promise you these will transform any lip color you layer these over.
This particular line has a really distinct citrus-fruit scent and taste which is really unique to all of the other lipsticks I've tried. The price is a bit high at $20 each but Lime Crime constantly has sales on these and you can even find them in your local Tj Maxx or Marshalls.
