The Inkey List Alpha Arbutin Serum
Hi beauties! I was recently sent The Inkey List Alpha Arbutin Serum from Pinchme in exchange for my honest review. This product retails for $11.99 & you get 1 ml of product.
I have been curious about this brand ever since I saw it launch at Sephora, especially since the full line is so affordable. The Inkey List is part of Clean at Sephora, where each product is formulated without over 50 harmful ingredients(sulfates, parabens, phthalates, & much more).
Here's a little background on the brand: there are currently a whopping 34 products to choose from and each product is cruelty free and each contains a different raw, high quality ingredient. From Hyaularonic Acid, Vitamin C, & Retinol, to Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, and Alpha Arbutin-- The Inkey List has you covered for all of your skincare needs. Serums, Moisturizers, Oils, and Cleansers galore. Did I mention their products start at $6.99? Yes, you read that right. Prices range from $6.99 for individual products to $35 for sets. The packaging is simple, clean, and informative so you know exactly what you're getting and what you need to do to ensure great results.
The consistency of this serum is very smooth, lightweight, and stays tacky on the skin for around 10 minutes while it's absorbing. Along with Alpha Arbutin, this product is also formulated with Squalane to increase hydration. I have dry, dull skin and this has really helped make my skin look and feel healthier. My stubborn dark spots that have been on my face for year are actually beginning to fade! It also has a pleasant scent that isn't overbearing or irritating even for those with sensitivity to scents like myself.
This is how good my skin looks after adding this product into my daily routine. I am so pleased with the results I've gotten!
The Alpha Arbutin Serum is the only product I have had the pleasure of trying thus far, but I plan on making quite the order on Sephora since I've had such great results with this serum. Arbutin is considered one of the most advanced ingredients in skincare and is naturally derived from blueberries, cranberries, wheat, and pears. Arbutin is a melanin inhibitor, or in lamins terms it prevents and minimizes pigmentation. So for those of you with dark spots like myself, this is the product for you!
Have any of you tried anything from the Inkey List? What were your thoughts? Let me know in the comments below!
Are you a member of Pinchme? If not, I highly suggest joining. They have sample boxes each month as well as other opportunities to sample products in exchange for your review.
Thanks so much for reading, and I hope you all have a wonderful week.
